CrossFit CrossFit (CrossFit.com) is shoveling snow, doing a push up, picking up your child, carrying the groceries in one trip (because we all do it!), or sprinting. All of these actions are functional movements. Now do them faster with a higher intensity and you're doing CrossFit! By definition, CrossFit is comprised of constantly varying movements executed at high intensity to improve overall fitness. In our world it is a way to prepare yourself for any kind of physical demand you may encounter.
The fitness needs of the average person are identical to those of a skilled athlete, the only difference between the two being intensity (speed, weight) and volume. The workout program is made based on measurable, observable, repeatable results. Results is the keyword.
